The Danger of Obesity

Obesity

Being very overweight, this issue really hits home to me. I realize being overweight will probably kill me sooner. I know what foods I should and shouldn’t be eating but, I still eat the wrong ones. I know I need to exercise more but, I still struggle with losing weight. I enjoy the taste of food. I eat when under stress and as a reward for doing other things well. Junk food tastes so much better than the healthy food. What are we to do? Food can be an addiction, so we need to replace it with something else.

The big problem with bi-pass surgery is that many of the patients trade one addiction for another. There is value in overcoming the actual habit of over eating.
